1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing Eight, you agree to these terms and applicable law. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and have authority to use any account or organization you connect.
2. The service
Eight provides tools to configure AI agents, test server-side inference, and publish an embeddable chat interface. Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable during maintenance. A deployment or preview is not a guarantee that every feature is production-ready.
3. Accounts and security
Keep your authentication credentials secure, use only accounts you are authorized to access, and notify the operator if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law. Do not bypass authentication, quotas, or access controls.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use Eight to violate law, infringe rights, harass people, or facilitate fraud.
- Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe systems without permission, or interfere with service availability.
- Do not use AI output as a substitute for professional advice in high-impact decisions without appropriate human review.
- Do not place secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal information in public agent instructions or embed configuration.
- Respect model-provider terms, third-party licenses, privacy rights, and the permissions of any data you process.
5. AI output and third-party services
AI outputs can be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them or showing them to others. You must evaluate agent behavior and permissions before deployment. Model providers and other integrated services may have separate terms and availability limits.
6. Your content
You retain rights you already hold in content you submit, subject to rights needed to process it to provide the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit the content and instruct the service to process it. Do not submit third-party data unlawfully.
7. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when needed to address abuse, security risks, legal obligations, or material service issues. You may stop using the service at any time. Data deletion and export capabilities depend on the features actually available in the product; do not assume that closing a browser deletes server-side records held by providers.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in every circumstance, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any limitation of liability must be reviewed and adapted to the operator’s jurisdiction before launch.
9. Changes and governing law
Terms may be updated as the service changes. The revised date will appear at the top of this page. The operator’s formal legal identity, governing law, and dispute-resolution venue must be specified after jurisdictional review; this draft intentionally does not invent them.
10. Contact
The operator should publish a monitored support contact and formal business details here before public launch.
