Acceptable Use Policy

Use Eight only for lawful, authorized, and responsible purposes. These rules cover prompts, agents, uploads, generated output, integrations, and published widgets.
Prohibited use
- Facilitating violence, exploitation, stalking, targeted harassment, or credible threats.
- Creating or distributing malware, phishing, credential theft, or tools for unauthorized access.
- Fraud, impersonation, scams, unlawful surveillance, or deceptive manipulation.
- Violating privacy, copyright, confidentiality, data-protection law, or intellectual-property rights.
- Illegal sexual content, including sexual content involving minors.
- Consequential decisions about people without lawful basis, transparency, safeguards, and human review.
- Overloading, probing, scraping, or interfering with systems without authorization.
Data and agent responsibility
Only upload data you are authorized to use. Minimize personal and confidential information, respect provider policies, test agents before publishing, and disclose AI interactions where appropriate.
Enforcement and reporting
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce this policy. Publish a monitored abuse-reporting contact before opening the service publicly.
